Spent most of the night playing in flash and capturing screen shots of AoD to see if I could make a new icon. Anyway, I'll make a lengthy locked post later about this interesting work week.

Spent last night working on yet another character. GEP and I were kind of put on hiatus once Jody and Di bailed last night. So the two of us ended up putting in for this midwest-horror-malachi-cornfields-everyone-is-going-to-die-a-horrific-death type of deal. It looks promising and if syncfreak had the time I'm sure he'd be all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake. Our apps got accepted this morning so hopefully there will be something up by tonight, giving me tomorrow at work to think it over. The one good thing I've found is this motivates me to write more. Not saying that I have some prime stuff worth anything, just that it doesn't make my work hours a complete waste of time.

Worked on a little bit of animation last night. Nothing spectacular...still trying to figure out the elements I need to add to make it pop.

Plan on seeing serenity next weekend with balatro ...that is if he makes an appearance. I made the mistake of reading some of the reviews and someone posted a key element of the movie which seriously pissed me off. I guess it serves me right for trolling but it aggravates me none the less.

Watched the final episodes of Firefly tonight. I am totally hooked and I need answers. I'm online with pumaman_redux whining about it and hoping the movie does so well that some network picks them back up. Puma seems to think if anything it will be more along the lines of films. In either case I hope it will satisfy my inner geek with answers and lots of em'. Now I just need to make it to the weekend for the opening.

Another week down without accomplishing a damn thing. I didn't feel like working at all this week and had to fight the overwhelming urge to stab people with a pencil multiple times. I figure if they don't croak I can inflict them with lead poisoning. Because of my *mood* I've updated my user info and left this entry open.

I anticipate getting my geek-on this up coming weekend in the form of trolling graveyards on Friday with diermuid, hitting karaoke with kcwitch later in the night. I have a feeling China Doll and Nicole Bass doing a duet in bondage will be hotter then me trying to sing. I am shamefully a karoake virgin, now hopefully popping my singing cherry will be a whole hell of alot easier then trying to get laid. Much like my first time I think there will be lots of alcohol involved. I apologize now to all those I call drunk off my ass. Once I sober up or rather have the kiddies wake me up for spongebob I suppose I'll be getting a little SCA action on Sat. Which reminds me I need to dig out some garb. The rest of the time I'm sure will be spent cramming food, talking about the old days and maybe making some shit up to see how many times I can get kcwitch to slap diermuid *just kidding*.

What type of laptop should I get?

Here's my problem. I'm to cheap to spend alot of money. I want something preferably with an intel processer. I want something that I can play the sims on (one strike against the titanium). Doesn't have to be a big HD but it would be nice to have the ability to edit film so it would be nice to have 32 or 64 on board. I have to have wireless (so I can play AC in bed).

Any suggestions?
